Village house in the Rodalquilar valley

Small rural village house, located in the center of Rodalquilar, heart of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. Rustic, with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom and backyard with sink and shower, ideal to spend a few days in the Valley. It does not have air conditioning but it has ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room. It has WIFI. It does not have a parking space. Small pets are allowed.

The location of this apartment allows you to visit very interesting areas around the Cabo de Gata Natural Park and even take a longer excursion to visit Granada (The Alhambra, the Generalife, the San Nicolás viewpoint, etc.), the Tabernas desert, with its "Spaghetti Western" decorations and even the Pulpi Geode, which is a giant geode covered by selenite crystals.

Rodalquilar is a mining town where numerous films have been shot for its peculiar landscape and where there are still remains of the gold mines that were exploited in the 1960s.

Rodalquilar is a quiet town, with a lot of life on the street. In summer, exhibitions are frequent in its showroom and even on the facades of houses.

A few km away, you will find La Isleta del Moro, a small fishing village with a wide beach. It is a typical village in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, with a lot of charm.

You will also be able to see the Escullos, where the San Felipe castle is, similar to the one in the Playazo de Rodalquilar. It was built in the second half of the 18th century and rehabilitated in 1991.
